Ido Dubrawsky Security Engineering Team Lead Itron

Ido Dubrawsky is a Sr. Principal Engineer and the Security Engineering Team Lead at Itron. He has over 20 years of experience in network and system security and has worked in a wide variety of roles including previously as Microsoft Chief Security Advisor for the Communication Sector.

Ido’s primary focus is on integrating security into all aspects of Itron’s AMI and Smart Grid solutions and to provide thought leadership and direction in Itron’s security strategy. As part of Itron's security effort Ido leads a team responsible for the implementation and integration of the Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle into Itron's product software, firmware and hardware development process.

He currently volunteers and participates in the IEC, NIST, and ZigBee alliance and assists in developing security standards for Smart Grid. He is a well known author of network security books and articles and teaches network security at the University of Maryland University College.
